Based on the awkwardly termed get-to-know-you game, nursing professors Nate Kincaid and Nancy Stell put together this activity with a fun educational twist — instead of students getting to know each other, they engage with the academic topics.

For 2021 Cedarville University alumnus Blake Hansher, his dream came true when Cedarville’s theatre program selected him to be the guest director of the drama “12 Angry Jurors.”

Liftoff! After nine months of rigorous building and testing, Cedarville University’s Rocket Team will launch its full-scale rocket prototype at the NASA Student Launch competition on April 10-14 in Huntsville, Alabama. The NASA Student Launch provides middle school, high school and college and university students from across the nation with the opportunity to design, build, test and launch vehicle and payload components that support the Space Launch System and Artemis missions.

God’s plan for the journey is often unexpected, and this is certainly true for Cedarville University junior Aaron Perry. Having played soccer for more than a decade, Aaron learned to equate running with discipline. Poor performance on the field or in practice meant running laps, sprints, or stairs. Yet after participating in a marathon during his senior year in high school, running changed for Aaron — from punishment to passion.

At Cedarville University, the bonds formed among students and faculty extend far beyond the classroom walls. Andrew McKay, resident director in Lawlor Hall, understands the value of relationships and is combining it with his passion for running — in the 57thannual Xenia Marathon on April 7. The run is sponsored by the Ohio River Road Runners Club.

Professor Jay Kinsinger and a team of senior mechanical engineering students from Cedarville University are gearing up for the Grassroots Motorsports $2,000 Challenge in Gainesville, Florida. The competition is set to take place on April 6-7. As the competition draws near, the team is focused on finalizing the car's bodywork and transmission, ensuring it's ready for rigorous testing before the event. 

In an era where electric cars are gaining more interest among U.S. consumers, there’s still a place for gas-powered vehicles. That’s why Cedarville University has built a car that could get up to 2,000 miles to a gallon, which it will test in the weekend’s Shell Eco-Marathon Americas competition at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The competition is from April 3-7.

New York Times best-selling author Peter Schweizer will deliver a lecture at Cedarville University on Tuesday, April 2, in the Dixon Ministry Center Chapel. The free event will commence at 7 p.m. and is sponsored by the Young America's Foundation. It is being hosted by Cedarville University's Robert W. Plaster School of Business and the Center for Political Studies.
