I had always wanted to attend Cedarville, and looking back now, I see how it was a clear working of the Holy Spirit in my life. I knew that I wanted to learn more about God and experience the impact of a relationship with Him on my daily life.

The Cedarville University Student Rocket Team took flight at the NASA Student Launch 2022 competition in Huntsville, Alabama, placing second in two categories during the three-day competition in April.  A total of 60 teams, 44 in the university division, launched rockets for the NASA-sponsored competition. Schools involved included the U.S. Air Force Academy, Ohio State University, Purdue University and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, which won the overall competition.

Beating cancer is no small feat, but sometimes learning how to be a survivor is when the real battle begins. Junior Samantha Wisor from Clearfield, Pennsylvania, has learned to draw on her experience surviving a large brain tumor to prepare for a career in social work.

The admission process for Cedarville University’s new Master of Medical Science in PA Studies Program will begin this summer, with the goal of seating its first class in May 2023. The consecutive 24-month physician assistant (PA) program is pending an accreditation review and decision by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) this September.

Mike Weller has had a phenomenal career. As associate professor of athletic training, Mike Weller teaching an athletic training class at Cedarvillehe has instructed, mentored, and coached hundreds of Cedarville students into careers that span high school, college, and professional sports. He is helping lead Cedarville’s program to new heights with the start of the Master of Athletic Training degree in June 2022.

As Cedarville University continues its student enrollment growth, the University continues to add new academic programs to meet the needs of its students and the business community.  Cedarville University’s Master of Business Administration (MBA) accounting concentration is now available to students who desire to weave key business principles among a biblical worldview approach in education.

It’s not often that employers ask their interns to buy their company, but for Bonnie Rutledge, an offer her junior year changed her career and local community for the better.  Rutledge, a 2020 Cedarville University graduate from Jewett, Ohio, was an intern at the Harrison News-Herald, fulfilling a requirement for her professional writing and information design degree.

She’s a faculty member in Cedarville University’s social work program. She works part-time at Crossroad Hospice and Dayton Children’s Hospital.
